GTR Powered JZX81 Mark II, Toyota with a nissan engine?

What is the benefit of the RB26DETT over the 1JZGTE? Torque?

How much power does it have?

The RB26 is just a better engine.

The 2JZTT VVTI engine found on the later model Supra's is just as good though.

Its not just a RB26, its one out of a R32, I think there blocks are suppose to be stronger, seasoned and all that.

RB26 rev higher to, plus more upgrade parts available.

Im all for Nissan engines but I do hear that the 2JZ is one tough block and the stock bottom end can easily take 800bhp. Saying that I would take an RB over one any day of the week if only for the noise!

2jz's in the States have ran at 1000bhp on stock internals.... don't know for how long though.... a bit like a 650bhp RB26DETT on stock internals, it will do it but it will break sometime

true, the Rb must still be favorable though because Mr "Top Secret" Nagata himself put the RB26 in his insanely powerful Supra, y'know the one he tried to break 200mph on the A1 with.
