    Question New fuel pump ??

    Bit of advice needed please.

When I drive my R34 GTT at around 100 -120 mph (noticed this whilst running at SantaPod a few weeks back), the car seemed to lose power for a fraction and then pick up again, could it be time to upgrade the standard fuel pump? and if so can anyone recommend a good manufactuer and has anyone done this themselves or would it be better to get it done professionally?

    Cheers

    Andy

Now, if my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious s***

Ditto, i hear the best thing about this pump is that it's a direct replacement?

I wouldn't use a Walbro if I got paid to do so, I have seen them fail and fuel is too critical of a component to take a risk on.

If you can afford then I would choose a direct replacement from Nismo, HKS etc.

I seem to have something lodged in the memory about an issue with the GTT at the speeds you mention but I can't remember the rest lol

Maybe that will jog someone else's memory

I had a Walbro on my GTT and although it was rated at whatever litres per hour, it couldn't sustain it and the rate dropped, so in went a Nismo R34GTR pump. The GTR pump certainly wasn't a direct fit, infact I thought "how the feck am I going to fit that" But it went in with a bit of adaptation and I can only hear it when I'm backing the car into the garage, unlike some pumps I have heard.

On the grapevine, I've heard that the Tomei 280 litres/hr intank fuel pump is at the top of the tree & the same goes for their ultra-reliable oil pump upgrade too, though devilishly expensive!

are the R33 GTS-T pumps the same as the R34 GTT pumps?
I am having fueling problems either faulty walbro 255 pump or not the correct voltage getting to it.

The fuel pump is only 6 months old so should be working okay. It is a 200sx pump but has the same fitments as the R33.
    Should I change to pump?
What should the voltages be at the fuel pump on idle and drive?

    Does any one run these?
