I haven't worked out what to do about the uprights yet, so it might slip down the list a little , but will eventually get around to it.

Some ppl suggest meguairs plast-x, others suggest replacing the console.

Well my new Work XD-9 wheels arrived this week.

I got 'round to checking them out today.

They're the right size - but the wrong bloody colour! Checked the original order and I did order silver, but bronze turned up (all the way from Japan).

Another unecessary job to get sorted out.

    Road trip this coming Monday.

Dropping wheels off for refurb at BJV Engineering and taking digital cluster to a place in Loughton to se if they can fathom it out.

Decalz.co.uk can make me a new logo, so am measuring up this weekend.

Think I've also settled on my respray place (Route 66); I'll be getting them to refurb and re-paint my calipers at the same time.

Also getting 2x new Falkens fitted at the front this weekend, as one of my Goodyears is buggered.

Saving the full set of Toyo's for when the TK wheels come back from refurb.

    Good choice on your Bodyshop

I'm sure Greg, Ben and Al will do you proud! Chatting with Greg yesterday he was looking forward very much to the Project if you decided to take your car to him. He's a very clever guy and will be able to advise you on any interior issues you have too i.e. your centre console.

I've just had my boot retrimmed there and some interior detailing work. Must say I'm very pleased (Pics to follow after the weekend when Matt's taken a few)

Cheers - planning to go ahead, just deciding when.

Also got the bombshell today on what the price might be for window rubbers! Just when I thought I'd goth the budget sorted.

New graphics being mocked up at the moment; process of creating samples:

Looking like a pretty good match for the original!

Turns out my engine cut-out is actually the traction control kicking in when uninvited, so not a cut-out or misfire at all.

If the traction control switch is turned of it doesn't happen.

Anyway, problem is being diagnosed so it can be rectified - but splitfires and new sparkplugs being fitted regardless.

I've got the finished graphics, new club stickers for the rear quarter windows and wheels have been refurbed.

Just waiting for the mechanical bits to be sorted out, so hoping to have the car back by the end of next week.

By then I guess I'll probably be getting it booked in late Dec or early Jan - bye bye bank balance

Digital cluster sounds hopeful of getting fixed (fingers crossed).

The base unit runs at the correct speed, but something between that and the visible LED display is making the speed run faster.

If the guy can sort the fault out, along with a bit of insulation to prevent noise spikes then I might get it sorted this side of Christmas.
