CAM tower bolt - RB25DET

Tightening up the bolts that hold the cam towers in yesterday and I broke one

Luckily I felt it go and was able to back it out in one piece so I don't have to drill anything out.

anyone got a spare one???

I just used M6 allen screws.

drop me a pm with an address, is it the bolt for caps 6 & 7 or 1 to 5 ?

and what were you doing them up to ? they only need 12Nm

it's number 2 on the inlet side.

errrrrrrrrm my torque wrench only goes down to 20nm and everyone I know who is likely to have a smaller one that I've asked is still looking to find it and I got impatient

The 'funny' thing is that I got the piss right royally taken on friday by a friend who builds his own drag engines for being so propper and waiting til someone came up with the right torque wrench for just a cam bolt.

I have already let him know that the blame lies squarely at his door.........
