I know Terry, its only once the parts are off you actually see what a shocking state it is in, but its being built for use rather than 'bling' so as long as I clean it up and sort out the rusty spots, I will be happy Click here to enlarge

I cant remember where I got the Plenum to be honest, I have had it a few months. I can try to dig out the import sheet and let you know, I do know it was expensive though

Looks like No.6 exhaust port had blown the gasket and was leaking, so you would have had to strip it soon anyway. What is the ETA for having it finished Andy?

Well , the exhaust is now all finished and fitted , along with the downpipe and oil feed. Just need some fabrication work on the rocker cover and i'll start on the inlet side.

the car getting the shower's my ongoing project , its a MK1 Escort running a RB25 and full skyline running gear. Most of the hard works done , just the rear axle to finish off.

I cut the manifold as they are'nt a great fit and it gave me a bit of movement to play with. I also noticed on one of the other R.I.P's project threads that they also have done the same thing which if you think about it should help with preventing it warping which i've known the aftermarket manifold do quite alot.

I would have liked it ready for TOTB but as anything its on a sliding scale Click here to enlarge no rush now really, but hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will be in a position to get it to Thor for the Link G4 fitting and mapping.

Its all exciting stuff, I will have to learn how to drive it again as it will be a different animal Click here to enlarge

Agreed, its only when you look closely at these things you realise that the work was crying out to be done.
