Its been a little while as I have had a few issues recently, but yesterday I picked up my replacement block after having it bored out to 87mm, everything has been balanced and it spot on. The block itself needed a bit of cleaning up, but I am almost ready for the build now.

Started off by giving it a good wash

These pistons are the right ones this time around and are balanced at 391g each (without any work needed)

    Roughly about half way through

and finished after almost 6 hours

Now, if my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious s***

I have given it a base coat of silver, close to the blocks original colour as I wanted to see what it would look like but I will more than likely go for matt black

andy..check all the welsh plugs carefully mate, use a screwy to stab them..best to find any bad ones now, acids and cleaning agents dont do them any good.

Not much has happened with the car for the last month, in fact it hasn't left the garage Just getting the money together to build and replace the engine. So I have turned my attention to the outside of the car for the moment and have started looking for a rear replacement bumper and a new Impul front bumper. I have just had these done by Knight Racer and the quality is superb, very impressed with them

It's a belting looking machine for sure!

Can't believe I've never come across this GT-T thread before to be honest... Just been doing a search for RB26 internals into the NEO and stumbled here.
How do you rate the G4, Andy? I've only read good reviews, but would be nice to hear from a fellow GT-T'er... Loving the Link display too

    All the best...
