I can't get a grille to fit!!! HELP

Hey guys and gurls, i have an r33....i had a gtr grille that didnt fit correctly (seemed too wide) and i've decided to replace it with a slightly different type....although this one doesnt fit either. Its not fitting flush at all (i may be able to make this one fit if im able to shave a little off both corners...once its stops raining!).

Any suggestions?....its beginning to really bug me to the point where im not thinking of selling her (i'm a bit of a perfectionist and im wanting this car totally sorted ready for the spring).

Sounds like you have a spec 2 grill for spec 1 car
or spec 1 grill for spec 2 car

heyy i recently replaced the grill for my R33 gts....was jus a standard one ....ened up buyin one of Ebay...and dad has resprayed it gloss black ...n with silver mesh...mine will fit ...however there are brackets needed to be made up in order to fit it..which dad is also workin on....i dunno what the grill is called but it has nothin in the middle ....like my old one had slats with that "s" badge thing in the middle ....that S thingo fell off somehow so thats why i replaced the grill lol...coz i couldnt find an S badge
