We do not currently allow links to so.com and as most of the club members have been banned from that forum, they cannot view the thread anyway.
Both Fuggles and Booty-Licious have been running "The National Skyline Meet" for many years, even before GTROC was formed. They will not support an unofficial rival meet and neither will this club.
Just to elaborate a little on what Geoff has said, the person responsible for ill advisedly promoting this event without the proper permissions on GTROC has apologised for his bad behaviour - he attempted to advertise it on GTROC itself! Whether SO.com continue to organise this event is a matter for them, but it would not be granted the blessing of GTROC, where the largest number of Skylines reside in the UK, nor would it be supported by us in any way whatsoever. Attempting to hijack an established event run by another highly regarded forum is a completely dishonourable and shameful act IMO.
In the New Year I will be in discussions with Booty about organising further joint ventures between SOC and GTROC in 2008
