    Those Tonka boys are nutters!

Good job it was a charity thing though as that would have got you in the **** otherwise. A bit like what one of our lads did the other month as a send off for the old Commanding Officer of 20(R)Sqn.

The basics of it was a normal see-off with normal marshalling at which point a naked bloke would come running on like
Party Boy! and marshall the jet off that way.

Unfortunately due to the sensitive nature of the video it was pulled from Youtube due to demands from the MOD.
There is no such thing as cynicism, it is merely realism born out of experience.

That kind of stuff was done all the time when i was at Goose Bay, much fun was had , the Germans used to marshall pretty well and the F4 pilots would taxi past us with their shades on their arms resting on the side of the cockpit

I thought i was in for it for staging a "display" for the lads on the pan using coaches, immediatly after the Red Arrows had taxied in in formation. The Sqn Ldr of the Red Arrows was fuming and stormed up to the CO's office to complain about us and demand i was disciplined. Our CO was a star though and told him he needed to develop a sense of humour!!
