Front Driver door speaker not working

Any ideas why the front right door speaker isn't working on my GTT?

It originally had the Japanese Sat Nav option and ever since fitting my Kenwood head unit the speaker hasn't worked.

Did it work when you forst put it in ?

If not I'm going to quote the obvious and say check the wiring.

wired up wrong? Connection come off the back of the speaker. Speaker blown. Could try swapping them over.

Take the speaker out and connect another speaker to the connections on it. That will tell you if the wiring is ok.

My front left one was dead but looked fine. After some inspection the hair thin voice coil wire was broke. Dab of solder and jobs a good-un!
