Winter Project - Suggestions on mods for my car???

Am thinking ahead to the winter and the next stage for me and the car.

Only advance thinking for now, but helps to get the ducks all lined up

Car is standard mechanically, apart from dump valve, induction kit, boost controller and Tommy Kaira exhaust mods.

Would like to push up the BHP a little (maybe around 350?) and have better acceleration.

Would appreciate thoughts on what mods I could do (bearing in mind I have the GTT Neo engine), whilst still keeping car reliable. Plus don't want to spend more than £1k if I can help it.

Ta.....

decat, turbo elbow, fuel pump, injectors, mapping, fmic..

I guess it depends on how far you want to take the car power wise to what you do. As you could get a 400bhp turbo kit and run with low boost for 350, and have the option of having higher power. or you could get a standard GTT turbo reworked like honeys going to have when fitted

Thanks for the tips.

I'm never going to make the car into a monster, so about 350bhp would be fine for me. Would just like to get thrown back into the seat a little more from (on occasion).

Will get Andy W's thoughts too when it's down there for service

ask him to take you for a spin in mine while your there as it's down there waiting for a pick up you would be surprised what a difference a new ecu makes i.e standalone or piggy back it will smooth out the whole ride and get a lot more response from the engine. It'll also let you know what 326 atw feels like

Decat, Downpipe, Turbo Elbow, FMIC, Remapped ECU to 0.8 BAR.

Should make 320-330BHP ish with your other mods and be just under budget if you shop wisely.

You cant add a load more space for the turbo to fill without introducing some lag

The 34 I/C should be plenty big enough

Won't see much over 320 BHP with that though, surely?

less is sometimes more

Bigger horsepower figures or a quicker car which is nicer to drive
