It's nearly the end of the Japanese Automotive Calender 2008 and with it comes one of this years biggest events.

Japan has produced some of the finest driver and tuner cars of recent years, which have taken Britain by storm. The success of the Japanese car scene is not surprising, when Skylines, Evos, Imprezas, Supras and RX-7s are rocketing up the dragstrip quicker than the world's fastest production cars. It's easy to see how the Jap scene has emerged from the underground car culture to mainstream appeal, and 1/4 mile performance is the ultimate badge of honour.

The JapShow events at Santa Pod are the embodiment of the popularity of these cars, with Europe's best competing in the HKS Drag Series, Run What Ya Brung open to everyone else, Drifting, Car Club Displays and much more.

The Skyline Owners Club is once again proud to show it's support for what is the penultimate event of the Japanese Automotive Calender. There will be a Club Stand which should hopefully be on concrete (providing we get the numbers in as quick as possible) where you'll have safe and secure parking for your pride and joy. There is the chance where you can take your car up the 1/4 mile or maybe you fancy going fast sideways where you can try a spot of drifting?

Round 4 of the HKS Drag series will also take place where our very own John Bradshaw and Project GTST will once again attempt to firmly nail that elusive 7 sec pass!

There will also be the usuals such as the famous 270mph Jet Car, helicopter pleasure rides, drift demos, handling circuit, mobile Dyno-pack, a whole host of Traders offering up parts at a discount or maybe you fancy showing off your pride and joy on the Meguiars Show n' Shine stand?

It will also be John (Project GTST) Bradshaws (Allegedly) 5th celebration of his 40th Birthday that weekend! So plenty of chance to pop along, stay for a few beers and have a good laugh / chin wag.

Camping will be available along with a BBQ and evening entertainment in the form of the Pod Lapdancers or maybe just have a few cheeky ones with a little less flesh on display in the Pod Palais heated nightclub which will open it's doors on the Saturday night. So come on peeps, don't miss out and get your names down!
