    help with fuel pump

    hi there everyone i was just wondering if anyone could recomend a full pump fo my gtst iv seen some cheep pumps on ebay for £40 says that it is a 225lph pump but they are cheeper than anyone eles tis just indicates to my that they wont b any good. can anyone help

    As chipper said, you get what you pay for. A £40 jobby will probably end up costing you thousands.

    Sounds like a walboro(sp) replica pump. Genuine ones are about twice that price.

    As Chipper says, speak to a trader about one.

    I got one off ebay for my last 33 a few years ago and wasn't overly impressed when the filter sock fell off in the tank while driving home. Meant the last quarter tank couldn't be used and ultimately resulted in me pushing the car for about a mile. Also, the 225lph is only possible if the pump is getting 16.5volts.
