| hi mate , had probs with mine light`s going off and on all the time and the steering going heavy without notice ,in the end i changed the hicas ecu in the boot ,never had no bother since!! ![]() |

| Has stopped squeaking Administrator Membership No. 395 | I'm sure so Jay. Plus the rear wheels movement is so minimal (1 degree) it wouldnt ever effect slow speeds e.g. parking. Someone had best start learning to park I reckon ![]() Some more friendly info.. Quote:

| "The newer version named Super HICAS was used from the R33 onward; electric actuators were used a long with a onboard computer, this version saved weight, and is said to be a much improved system. " yeh.. works even better now i installed in my bin! ![]() |

| From reading this thread it seems if you drive " spiritedly " it seems better to have the hicas locked out with the bar. Does hicas effect wet weather grip ? The reason i ask this question is that my hicas system works , but the ball joints that connect into the hub are dead. So i'm about changing them , if i decide to lock hicas out with the bar is there another option , instead of the ball joints ? Must admit with hicas working, at speed the rear end does seem stable when cornering. The only time get the " rear end wiggle " is in the wet. i don't do track days yet .... so it's really used fast road. ![]() |
