| plx gauges well as you can all tell from my number of posts yesterday and today, i'm reduced to writing about my car rather than driving it at the moment - it being in UK and me in india seems to make that rather fundamental as an issue! as part of my skyline upgrade plans, i wanted to add some gauges without making barry bolt-on fittings for them (not criticising - just not to my taste)so i ended up with PLX devices gauges for EGT and AFR (will probably add a couple of other later on) they are really cool - they are a virtual gauge, so you get a choice of design (can even create your own to make them look standard), and you can display graphs and up to four things on the same gauge (eg AFR,EGT,water temp and boost for example) the garage also managed to remove the standard voltmeter from the gauge panel and fit the device in there with the senor boxes fitting nicely under the panel...so no additional gauge pods and a real factory fit look. highly reccomend these to anyone who doesn't want a christmas tree on the dash especially if you order them from teh US, as they came in at $289 for EGT, AFR and multi function display....uk list for that kit was >£550 (blah blah ripoff etc etc standard rant) |

| Has stopped squeaking Administrator Membership No. 395 | Sounds like a good idea, have you seen what Endless-R are offering? http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/f...group-buy.html Think they look rather smart for the money, just a shame they don't work for the power fc as quite a few people tend to use this ECU p.s. how long till your home, bet your crossing off the days on the calendar to drive the skyline again ![]() |

| back on sunday - so just a week of pain to go now....that said the roads are soooooo bad here, i'm kind of thinking its impossible to drive anyways. loving the look of it - it is kind of trick, but i'm guessing it shows calculated AFR etc, and for at least AFR and EGT i want directly sensor readings - i have nissan datascan running full time on a laptop - and its also kind of cool but the differences between its AFR reading and the PLX are frightening (we compared it to the dyno and the PLX was slightly lean through the range as its right at the turbow - but the nissan one was a mile off tbh. |
