nice find - i've seen this before but never investigated it.

So we need a cable to link to the serial port on the computer -> the consult port on the car under the dash, next to fuse box on drivers side - right ??

Found this from his own site... may be more accessible for people as its a version for use on a palm pilot!

What sort of cable would you have to buy to make this work?
I wouldn't want to change any settings but it would be nice to know whether the boost, oil& water temp guages that i've fitted actually work

"Also, this may be obvious to some, but you also require a serial consult interface. See Blazt or PLMS for serial consult interfaces."

Not that it'll be doing me much good!

But my Consult cable arrived this morning.

the software that came with it - ECU Talk - was easy to install but I cannot get it showing real-time data.

The s/w posted on here - DataScan - was slightly trickier to install but not that hard.

Both picked up the right com port (well it was 1) and worked immediately.

Here's a screenshot of DataScan in action.

God I wish I had this running on GT Art's dyno today.

Verdict. Must have!
