Which gauges to choose???

I'm toying with the idea of replacing the 3 standard gauges I have in my GTT gauge pod (voltage, oil temp, boost) for Defi gauges.

Bearing in mind my instrument cluster has water temp and oil pressure, plus I'll have a Power FC, which of the following would be useful to have for my choice of 3?:

1) Oil Temperature
2) Oil Pressure
3) Fuel Pressure
4) Intake Manifold Pressure
5) Exhaust Temperature
6) Water Temperature
7) Boost

Cheers

I would and do have

AFR
Oil temp
Boost

Presumably the GTT has stock oil pressure, the power fc has water temp and intake manifold pressure and fuel pressure are pretty rarely needed so that leaves EGT which in most cases is pretty linked to AFR

Or just get rid of one of the gauges, and swap it for one of the fancy lcd ones that Ghouluk has, i`ll try and find the page. They look good, can make them look like standard gauges and will show all three (or more) readings at the same time, one at a time or cycling.

EDIT:
Link to thread plx gauges

And there website http://www.plxdevices.com/products/dm100/

Thanks for the feedback, have a few lines of enquiry open - but this may end up being one mod too far on current budget (not that I know what a budget is).

In the end I changed my plans. Found some gauges like Richf's - but I thought the supplier had a stock delay so cancelled the order.

So in the end went for Defi 60mm Boost & Oil temp gauges, plus this AFR wideband gauge kit:

VW Speed Shop :: Innovate Motorsports :: Gauge Kits :: Innovate G3 Gauge kit
