Well don't worry about the colours, we all know what colours they came in

There was never a 'Nur' spec for the 32's. They did a Nismo edition and also an N1.
There were 228 N1's, which as standard came withno ABS, no A/C, no radio, no rear wiper and lighter headlights (basically the same as GTS-t units) as well as the obvious engine upgrades. They could be ordered with A/C though.

Is a V-Spec worth more than a non V-spec? Not really, especially if you're going to modify it.
Good V-Spec II's can fetch some extra money as they were the last of the breed, but with this in mind are best left as standard as they're worth virtually no more than any other GTR when modified.

Early blocks are rumoured to have a higher Nickel content and subsequently be stronger, but I wouldn't bet my house on that one.
They also had a crappier pump drive on the crank which is supposedly more prone to failure. Later cars (I think sometime in '93 onwards) had an updated crank/pump drive which is essentially the same as that in an R33 GTR.
Coil packs on earlier cars differed slightly although the later ones (R32 and R33) are a direct replacement.

Excellant guys i do need as much help as i can get as my hard earned money will be used to get one asap

Heres what im looking for really:
Gunmetal or black in colour (due to interior and under the bonnet ect being sprayed in black as standard as im looking to do a full strip out and dont want the hassle of an in and out spray

As above im looking to make this into a road legal race car, was thinking about doing a full Group A replica but not sure if il stick with the colour scheme but everything else will be the same.

So am i right in saying that non V-specs do NOT have Brembos as standard?

Also it really isn't worth me going for a V-Spec 2 or a Nismo as i wouldn't benefit in ripping all the interior apart ect?

Please keep the info coming its really appreciated. Il pay all info with beer

I was going to do the same this as you Kev before I moved..

My ideal car would of been a stock R32 GTR with scratched and dinged body, ripped front seats, crappy rims and tyres, and a big fook off dent in the bonnet, as all these parts would of been replaced.

Just make a list of what you plan to replace and find one with these parts damaged, saves you spending money in the long run

Only the V spec's came with Brembo brakes (same as R33 GTR). Series 2 cars (from mid 91 on) were heavier, they had heavy reinforcing bars in the doors. Although I havn't got conclusive proof the Vspec cars had an updated version of the ATTESA (different program in the computer). My attesa certainly operates different to other standard cars I've driven.

If you are looking to modify the car, bearing in mind All Tourque uk, I'd get a boggo standard 32 GTR. By the time you have changed the brakes and the suspension, most of the features of the car being a V-spec have gone if you forget about body panels.

If you can find a V-spec which suits your needs and for the same sort of money as a regular GTR, then go for it, if only for the Brembo's etc.

Yeah realistically im looking for a GTR for about £7k and as the weather gets worse and winter draws near im hoping the prices will start to fall, especially as the everyone is struggling with inflation, by christmas they should be going quite cheap (hope and pray) so i will be able to get a really nice clean one

Body panels on a v-spec are different from a regualr GTR then?

Also Mark yours is up for £7100? would u recommend your car ?
