None.

Waste of money, just use your watch to count down.

Plus you can't use these on the road I'd imagine as It's illegal to leave your engine running unoccupied. Doesn't this have problems with insurance too? can't quite remember

Yes and YES!

Police can fine you for leaving the car running while unattended and even though the car would cut out, I can't see an insurance company loving the idea of leaving the car running (easy cop-out on your Policy).

I have one, it was poorly fitted by a garage and has NEVER worked - I haven't bothered in 3 years to get it working, that should tell you what I think of Turbo Timers

Don't bother with a turbo timer, just drive the last mile or so home slowly.

Turbo timers will invalidate your insurance as they are seen as a way round with having your car running and no key present.

Listen to the advice above and save your money.

i had a turbo timer and wasted a load of cash fitting an alarm that would work with it my insurers say nothing and it was listed on my insurance but the coppers did say somethings at a meet and warned me about a few things

1. i am liable if the engine is running unattended and some wally walks past my exhuast and burns themselves

2. the insurance will not pay out if the car is stolen while running with the timer counting down (even with the alarm armed) unattended the polite policeman pointed this out in my policy's small print therefore because it was on my policy if my car had of been stolen the insurance would not of paid out at all because i would have had no proff that the car was not on the timer at the point it was stolen. a clever thief could use the remaining time to simply load the car onto a wagon(scary thought!)

3. its illeagal to have your car running unattended

4. he called me a ponce for showing off

Spent a long time making a nice little hideaway unit in my arm rest, only to not use it now. I found, you would set it for 2 mins, then look a **** stood there waiting for it to stop as I didn`t trust it to turn off. So pointless really.
