about my gtst type m

hi just posted question about my car on worng thread. i new!. as i read on this site, there is no difference between type m and not type m. i would just like to no if my type m is gonna have variable valve timing, hicas, l.s.d. i also read on a website that the type m's have the rb25det engine in them, is this true for all of them and what the hell does it mean? ta

All R33 GTST's are Type M.

RB25Det means its 2.5 litre, double overhead cams, electronically fuel injected, turbo. IIRC

PS it'll have VVT Hicas etc.

Have a look here for a breif explanation of different models.....
RB Engines - RB20DET, RB25DET, RB25DET NEO, RB26DETT

I was under the impression that type m , was the models fiitted with the standard body-kit. The one the almost all gts-t are fitted with. The non-type m were the plain one with no side skirts , lower front spoiler and rear spats. But mechanically the same. Ah well ...!

dont recall standard side skirts or bodykits on a gts-t's :| i think your thinking of gtr m-specs which got leather
