Exclamation buzzing noise in the boot when driving

Hi everyone, this is my first time on a forum im not even sure if this is the right place to post message. But if it is please can someone give some advice.

My r34 gtt is not driving probably, at random it will back fire and the when i go to press the exccelerater the engine sound like it going to die out make "put put put" noise as if the fuel is running out, but i still have under 1/4 tank left, so pretty much the car wont go, at the same time there is a buzzing noise thats comes from the boot, its a blue a white connect that is just behind the tail lights in the boot. this noise will start and stop at the same time as when the going has its problems. When it starts to happen it last for from 3 seconds to 30 seconds dont know what cause it to go back to normal. But 2 time i got out and check the engine to see if anything from there and when I shout the bonnet it stop and when back to normal? Does any one know whats happen, I would much appreciate it if some could help me.. Thanks...

Could be the fuel pump I think thats the only bit of kit in the boot that affects the running of the car.

What do you mean by "its a blue a white connect" are you saying thats what causes the buzzing?

I am not sure the fuel pump failing would cause a backfire though.

hello mate no expert on cars only a dum industrial electrician but a chattering relay is not good have you a wiring diagram as i have not other wise i could look at it and seeat chattering relay is normally caused by a voltage drop ,if you go across a1 & a2 with a test meter and check the voltage and compare it with the relay voltage that should show you something

legrat has my vote - I'd pull the relay and get it down to an auto electrician and ask him to test it. no way should it buzz - is there a relay in the boot?

If its not that, as said above it has to be the pump.

Thanks Legret.
ive taken it to the auto electrian and he has told me exactly what you said about the relay droping in voltage, and cause of that the fuel is not pumping probable. But the question now for him is what is cause the voltage drop, he is still looking at it, he has to pull out the dash and look under it. he still doesnt know what it is.
Thanks for eveyones advice. Ill keep posting on what happens.

THE ANSWER..... heherhe

th electrician called and said it was the computer in the car, concern the fuel circuit was damages and was cause voltage drops to the relay connected to the fuel pump. Its going to cost me $200 Au, for 8 hours labor and $275 Au, to repair the fuel circuit in the computer. If cant repair i need to spend $600 Au, plus labor for a new computer.
Very costly these things man.. I guess just going have to repair it, heehreheheh

One would think a used ECU would be cheaper fix, but I know nothing.
