fitted an HKS 60mm boost gauge and A pillar pod, also refurbed brake calipers.....

    FROM THIS....

    TO THIS.......

very pleased with the brake calipers, it took me 3 days to do them all but it was well worth it.

    cheers

    Andy.

Right, i've been a little bit busy taking the car apart ready for bit to be painted etc, and a bit more besides...

firstly I sold my 17" Advans and got myself some 18" Rota Torques......

Then I started on the front bumper, I took it off so it can be resprayed to make it perfect again, also so i can remove the fogs and replace them with driving lamps fitted with 6000k HID bulbs to match the headlamps, whilst the bumper is off I cleaned and tarted up the intercooler - removed the std coupling hoses ready to replace with silicon hoses.

Next is the engine bay, i've relocated the battery to the boot to give me some room for my new alloy intake pipes and to make it look less cluttered....

i've removed the rocker cover and cambelt cover to be repainted, also taken the power steering and coolant resevoirs off to be replaced with nice alloy ones....

There's lots of silicone hoses on order to replace ALL the black rubber ones

The rear lights and rear garnishes are off to be tinted a slightly darker shinier red to remove the orange indicator colour from the rear lights, the clear bits will be kept clear.

they will look like this - much better without the orange indicator bit on the top....

thats it for now, i'll put up the pics once the painting has been done and all re-fitted with nice rear lights and nice new hoses under the bonnet etc.

    cheers

    Andy.

    Looking great Andy.
Careful not to take the bling too far, or you'll end up back where you started not wanting to take it out in the wet.
Joking aside, looks like you're going to have another car well worth presenting at shows as well as being great for every day use.
Well done mate. Look forward to seeing you and the car soon.

well i've been a little bit busy over the last few weeks, i've had a few things back from the bodyshop ( Innovation Bodyworx - Car repair and modification specialists ) - thanks to Darren, and i got around to fitting them.
( just waiting for slam panel to be painted and returned to me )

I relocated battery to the boot so i can fit my hard papes and to de-clutter the engine bay.

IGNORE THE BLUE VAC HOSE, THATS BEING REPLACED :smthumbup

I've got to do a few more jobs to the engine bay yet :

Replace all bolts with Stainless items

    Stainless fuse box covers

Fit Coolant hose kit ( RED )

fit silicone vac hoses ( RED )

    Fit catch tank

Braided hoses in a few places

    Fit carbon bonnet struts

    Ralliart oil and rad caps

AND A FEW OTHER LITTLE BITS....

I fitted the Ralliart mudflaps but i'm not sure if i like them or not....

I love my car..... my wife and my daughter, not necessarily in that order !!!

    now i've got a 4wd car....

Also tinted the rear lenses to get rid of the orange indicators...

Lastly but not least I fitted the 3 gauge pod on the dash with oil pressure, oil temp and water temp gauges...

ITS STARTING TO ALL COME TOGETHER NOW, I'M REALLY PLEASED WITH THE PROGRESS, IT SHOULD BE BACK ON THE ROAD IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS, I'LL KEEP THE UPDATES COMING......:smthumbup

    cheers

    Andy.

LOL....It looks pretty bloody shiny and bling to me Andy
Coming along very nicely mate. I also vote for the flaps (fnar fnar) to stay.....it's a rally slag after all
I used to be someone around here!
Now I'm quite happy being no-one somewhere else.

    Normal services will resume....eventually.
