Is my GTST poorly?

Had my car about 3 weeks now and loving driving it, but iv noticed and oil leak at the back of the engine near the buulkhead and it seems to be dripping off the gearbox too, MGT racing have said this is normal and not to worry but in the last couple of days it seems to be lacking a bit in power also.
I could just be getting used to the power and thats why it doesnt seem as fast; but i also noticed a funny smell. It was a strong smell of petrol to start with but now it seems different but i cant describe it which isnt much help i know but it only smells after hard acceleration.

oil leaks from the cam cover is common i have the same sort of problem but nothing major

if you have a decat and its not programed it it will smell of petrol untill you got it sorted

could well be the petrol your using or change in air temp in the atmosphere that causes you to expirience lower power mine was fast this morning but no way near as fast as it was yesterday morning on the way home from work man i love cold air

yea it was warm yesterday- i hadnt taken that into account. Its not got a decat so it wont be that causing the smell

They all smell of fuel, it's part of the experience. Check your oil levels and tweak up the screws around the cam covers. Easy.
