Stuck....fault but where to take the car?

Hi there. I have had an intermittant fault. The engine light comes on, and the car seems to misfire...a regular misfire feel not off beat or sporadic......then i turn it on and its ok.
My problem is what to do now? My local Nissan dealer said he dont work on skylines. Anyone know where I can take it not to far from Bromley?
Cheers for any help

John

Sounds like coil packs to me, quite a few R34's have had the same problem and this seems to be the cause

Theres Abbey Motorsport near by but if you know a thing or two about car's you should be able to change the plugs yourself

i would suggest maybe a compression test and see if there is any descrepancies there first... and if it is the coilpacks check the plugs first i'm running greddy 8's they seem to be doin fine. Coilpacks are pricey but I would suggest splitfires if funds allow.

Correct answer

Contact one of the traders in the traders section and get some prices for a set of splitfires
