Standard 2 stage boost work around?? - Skyline Owners Club

Been looking on the Aussie forum and found this :-

HOWTO: RB25DET High Boost mode with standard solenoid - Skylines Australia

Has anyone here tried this before??? Thinking about having a fiddle at the weekend but wanted to know if anyone on this side of the pond had done it.

Or

am I being a cock and should leave alone.

My car did'nt like this mod for some reason. It hesitates and holds back higher in the revs. Worse on cool days, so I put it back to 2 stage. Somebody said it could have caused overfuelling ? I dont know why because after 4500 revs the boost would be the same, and thats where the problem is

yep, becks car is running like this, and has been fine

Have you any ideas why? I've been doing some research and it looks as though its probably overfuelling.
