Coolant Disappearing GTT RB25DET

Hi all, I am new here. I have just purchased a GTT and have got it home and just checking over everything. I opened the rad cap to realize that the radiator is low on coolant as is the overflow. The car came in from Japan with the engine out and it was then installed so all fluids were drained and I guess they topped up everything but did not bleed the coolant. I wanna make sure though. I opened the rad and filled the rad with coolant as well as the overflow and removed the bleed screw from the top og the engine between the intake and engine and started the car. Immediately the coolant began spewing from the radiator all over the shroud and surroundings, not bubbling with air but just overflowing and splashing everywhere. The bleed screw has tonnes of bubbles coming out of it but I had to switch off as the coolant was overflowing too much.

I replaced the Nismo rad cap and left the bleed screw off and started again and the is a constant amount of bubbles with coolant coming out all the time. When I switch off the car there is a steady stream of coolant shooting out the bleed hole though. What can be causing the the coolant to come out the rad when the engine is cold? Even with the rad filled to the brim there is no coolant coming out of the bleed hole like everyone says. I am thinking it may be thermostat related but not sure. I was initially thinking that it may be a clogged radiator but I took off the rad cap and squeezed the top and bottom rad hoses and the rad level went up everytime, I squeezed after the greddy temp fitting as well to make sure the fitting area was not blocked and same thing the level of the rad fluid went up so I have a fairly good idea that the radiator is flowing. what can be causing the water to overflow and if it is the thermostat where is it located, I am thinking on the top hose fitting on the engine, can someone correct me if I am wrong?

thermostat is on the top hose get a low temp one as they work better have you tried filling up with the bleed screw open then running it for a couple of seconds then bleeding it and repeating the process

I had the bleed screw off and the rad cap off and topped up the rad and the overflow as well to the max mark but no fluid would come out the bleed screw with the rad full. When I started the car coolant would begine to overflow out the rad even when the engine was cold. I capped the rad and left the bleed screw off and I saw bubbles coming from the bleed screw with coolant as well. I left is for about ten minutes but the same result. when I switched off there was a shot of coolant without bubbles coming out of the bleed screw. After the engine cooled down the overflow level dropped by half the amount. I topped it up again and tried it with the heater on max, the thing is my air con needs to be gassed so not sure if it will help. The result was the same though coolant in overflowing, not bubbling and it is not discoloured or has traces of oil nor does it have mayo on the cap.

I think I sorted it. The R34 GTT has two bleeder screws, one to the front and one to the back on the left side of the engine by the intake manifold side as well. Not sure of the sequence but I removed both caps and filled the rad and overflow and even tried topping up the two bleeder holes with fluid and once I tried doing that the coolant began to overflow from the rad. I covered them back up and started the car with the air con on hot and left it to warm up. After it reached operating temp I switched off and left it to cool and then when done came back and checked the overflow level and it was at the max like it should be.
