| Skyline Enthusiast Registered User | please excuse what may be a dumb questions, just bought a series 1 R33 GTS25T (my first skyline) the guy that i bought it from was unsure when the cambelt was last changed so as i don't really want it to go pop im looking at giving it a major service and belt change... what i need to know are; *what needs to be changed with the belt? tensioners, water pump, pulleys etc....???? *are the greddy kevlar belts the same on RB25 AND RB26 engines? *and lastly whats the best oil and filter to use? O.E.M. or something like HKS, or NISMO etc... or does it not make much difference any help would be great!!!! many thanks in advance ![]() |

| You will need the Belt, a Tensioner and an Idler Pulley. You don't need to change the Water Pump, although whilst your there and for an extra 70-80 quid (roughly) you'll have peace of mind. |
