GTT poss prob with traction control?

Hi guys, newbie here.

I have an issue when the traction control is on. Sometimes when i put my foot down the "SLIP" light comes on and the car loses power....even on a long straight dry road in 4th gear?

i know it works ok when pulling away and loosing traction, but why would do it in the conditions above??

For now i just have T/C off unless really wet.

Cheers

Si

Unless the SLIP light comes on constantly then I wouldn't worry about it, bit strange that its on a straight in 4th gear, do you have an after market boost controller? As mine was causing boost spikes upon high revs with a loss of power, does it happen at a certain rev range?

Mine ended up being a duff boost controller and slipping clutch.

Hi, no its not constant it kinda just flashes on and theres a dip in power but it does do it pretty much everytime i boot it with T/C on in 3rd and 4th. It does have an AVCR and its tiptronic (at the moment)

Cheers

I had that size on mine once, many years ago and never had a problem as they are near enough the same rolling radius. Must be something else then.
