GTT Triptronic Box - Skyline Owners Club

Got a little query and problem,

recently (last couple of days) the A/T light on the dashboard has been coming on steady and flashing at which moment the gearbox goes into third gear and stays there, the speedo needle also bounces off the end stop then returns to normal.

anyone seen this before, got an idea what could be at fault

Sound like the box is going into limp home mode if it gets stuck in 3rd gear.

Have a look in the technical section, as there is bound to be an answer for you in there.

Obvious things to check are the fluid level and make sure that the plug connections are nice and clean on the gearbox underneath the car
