What can I do to my R33 GTS

Hi everyone.

I recently bought a 1996 R33 2.0 GTS (Non Turbo), and even though I have no current plans to do anything to the car, I am still wondering what I can/can't do to the car.

What modifications can I make to the car?
What order should I consider the modifications done?
What benefits would said modifications get me.

Hope someone can give me some pointers, so I can start planning the future of my car.

The first question is, what would you like the car for ?

Track, Drag, Looks.. ok, so its a non turbo, so prob not drag, but there are quite a few routes to go down, and lots of choices..

The main difference you may or may not be aware of is the fact the non turbos have a 4 bolt hub and turbos have a 5 bolt, so a little tougher finding wheels and brakes (not massively difficult)

Thanks..

I haven't really given that much thought, but I think I'd generally like to improve the performance as much as possible.

I'm also planning some upgrades on the inside, such as an on-board computer, and a decent stereo, but other than that it's mostly performance I'm looking for.
I don't think I'll be racing this car, but i'd still like it to run better than it already does.

Depends on your choice really as putting in a RB25DETT would give you simple performance gains, one thing to remember is that the non turbo has smaller brake calipers too but there is a How To fit bigger brakes if thats something you want to look at

If you want performance, save your cash and buy a turbo.. if you want looks, then keep going

Well.. the next milestone now, is a R34 GTR. That's the one that sparked the dream.. But this one looks just as awesome for now.
I definitely need to sort the paintwork out though...
Does anyone know approximately what I need to pay to get the whole car repainted?

There's just a few scratches here and there, so I can get it cleaned up for about 4-500 euro, but I'm gonna treat this like my baby for now, and that costs money. :P

Depends on quality..

I had the whole of mine resprayed for about £1,500 but it wasn't a very good job...

You can pay up to and over £5,000
