Brake pads

Before I order some, are Redstuff ceramics still a decent choice for brake pads for a standard GTS-T, or should I look at something else?

Mad dog would tell you to stay away from red stuffs.

Normally lots of good noises made for ebc yellowstuff. Mixed views on Ferodo DS2500 - fine for me and others, but not for all.

Yoko - you know what my car is in comparison to yours so I can't recommend the DS2500's enough, however, they are about £160 for the fronts.

I have red stuff in my rears now and they are fine, but can squeak a tiny bit.

If I could have found the DS2500's for the rears then I wouldn't have bought the redstuffs.

We use Yellowstuff in Honeys GTT and with the GTR Brembos, they bite really well and are superb from cold too.

I have at the moment Yellowstuff on the rear of mine and DS2500 in the front. I'm personally not that keen on DS2500 and prefer Yellowstuff.

I have heard more than a few bad reports on DS3000 pads, so don't bother with them.

If you want the best, Performance Friction are the daddies............if you can afford them

Stay well clear of Redstuff, they are shite and nearly killed me on a few occasions!!! As others have said yellowstuff are good, i've used Ferrodo DS2500 and thought they were very good but did get quite a bit of brake squeel with them.

MMMmmmm Performance Friction

Cheers all. Yellowstuff it is then.

Next question - where from, or are the prices pretty similar everywhere?
