Question Roll Cage

hi all im just trying to find out where is best to get a welded in roll cage? im looking at something along the lines of 6 or 8 point as i have already stripped all interior and sound deadening just looking to get a proper cage. if anyone can help with info would be greatly appreciated. gbh motorsport have quoted me £1200 is this a good price?

thanks mate, just lookd at his website and that is some serious cage work. i didnt realise that he did stav's chaser and project gtst!!!! definately gona give him a an email and get him on the case. does you know where he is based?

An alternative would be Geof Hauser Racing who did mine, or if a steel cage is OK try Fabricage. I went chrome-moly to keep the weight down. Around £1200 should get you a chrome-moly roll bar with cross bar and drivers side bar. Less than that for steel full cage from Fabricage (it weighs 45Kg).

I recommend you get comparative quotes to avoid a cardic arrest when you get the bill.

Also be aware that to fit will need everything stripping out, including dash which will need cutting for full cage, and that all the wiring gets disturbed so will need a thorough check after. We had 3 wiring faults after mine was done. Also make sure they disconnect the battery before doing any 'in-car' welding.

thanks for the info, do you have any pics of your cage that i could look at and whereabouts are they based? i cant wait to get it done!!!
are you pleased with yours and do you use yours for track?
