Backfire I have recently had a used HKS bov fitted and now when i change gear as i go into the next gear and let out the clutch there is a small back fire. I do have a japspeed exhaust and apex filter which the apexi afc has been mapped to accept. Any ideas or just normal?

Pretty much the norm. The BOV is letting out "metered" air that would normally be fed back into the engine in the normal re-circulating BOV set-up. I suggest you just go for a re-tune at your local garage to make sure it isn't going silly on the fuelling. However, I don't think it will cause many problems as it will only be running slightly rich.

as far as im aware it will do this if its been de-cat'ed.....both my 33 gts-t's were the same and so is my tiptronic r34 gtt......as others have said perhaps check the fuelling is ok as standard pumps can die off slowly but if alls well there dont worry about it.
