4WD light and Attessa code... I have a problem with my 4wd system, the 4wd light has been coming on more and more recently and now its almost every journey after about 2-3 minutes, which makes it interesting in these wetter conditions ![]() I have read and know the code, its 75 - TPS wiring or circuit, BUT..... this first came on after my clutch was changed and I didn`t top up the rear reservoir, letting the fluid go just below minimum accidently ![]() The question, what code would/should flash up for the fluid, is this a random code and could still be fluid related with air in the system or something else, maybe even the TPS itself? I have topped the fluid up now but still have this issue. regards Cliff

Also, after topping up the reservoir I disconnected the battery for 2 days to do an ECU reset, but still the same.

Good question, I dont know the answer. Would that also throw up a TPS code too? Everything works ok when the light is out. The only thing I have to go by is the code and what happened before it came on, which was clutch and low fluid, but I dont see how the code is related?!!

No, the system hasn`t been bled since the clutch change or after the fluid was topped up. I have saved that page thanks and we`ll be on the case with that ![]() Is it possible to throw up the TPS code for this then?

Looking at the codes for my R33 GTR (different to the R32GTR) I can`t see one for fluid, so maybe just chucks out a random code with an airlock ![]() ATTESA Codes - R33 Regular and Vspec 1,5 - Front right wheel sensor and circuit 2,6 - Front left wheel sensor and circuit 3,7 - Rear right wheel sensor and circuit 4,8 - Rear left whel sensor and circuit 11,21 - Front right inlet solenoid valve and circuit 12,22 - Front left inlet solenoid valve and circuit 13,23 - Rear inlet solenoid valve and circuit 15,25 - Front right outlet solenoid valve and circuit 16,26 - Front left outlet solenoid valve and circuit 17,27 - Rear outlet solenoid valve and circuit 31,32,33 - E-TS solenoid and circuit 34,35,36 - E-TS fail safe solenoid and circuit 41,42 - ABS actuator relay and circuit 43,44 - ABS actuator motor , motor relay and circuit 45,46,77 - ET-S/ABS control unit ground and circuit 47,48 - E-TS/ABS control unit power supply and circuit 51,52 - E-TS actuator motor and circuit 53,54 - Pressure switch and circuit 55 - Air bleed switch and circuit 56 - E-TS oil level switch and circuit 61 - FR and RR G sensor 1 and circuit 62 - FR and RR G sensor 2 and circuit 63 - FR and RR G sensor 1 or 2 and circuit 64 - G sensor 1 power supply and circuit 65 - G- sensor 2 power supply and circuit 66 - Side G sensor and circuit 75 - Throttle position sensor and circuit and sensor

You will need to bleed the system at the gearbox for it to work again if you have had the gearbox out. If the code remains check the codes for the engine ecu if there is no tps code there there may well be a fault between the engine ecu and the 4wd ecu.

Yeah, the gearbox came out completely. Okay, when my mate is available we`ll do the full bleed and see if that cures it ![]()

sounds like it just needs to TPS set up , they seem to "age" . If that doesnt work maybe a few mins with a Consult will tell you whats wrong.

Well, after checking voltages and even swapping a TPS from my friends R32 GTR, then back again, resetting the ecu via the wire trick on the connector block.......the 4wd light doesn`t come back on anymore!!!?? I dont know why? God knows how we sorted it but it works!! ![]()
