    Thumbs up

I'll post up vehicles that I see will interest people on here. Skylines and other big power stuff.

Also a break down of the costs etc.

I'm sure you lot are not that bothered about the camper vans!

    Thanks!

    Jonathan.

Elgrands are nice, but they tend to come over as "day vans" and then get converted once over here. Same with the Mazda Bongos really. Getting them converted over here is a bit expensive.

The most common camper vans you see over in Japan are the Toyota Hiace, which I have imported quite a few of (to sell as stock). Got one of them on the drive at the moment waiting to be registered. Most Hiace you see over here on ebay go for well over 7K some dealers try to flog them for 10k +

Well because of the bad exchange rate, prices at auction have slumped, and I have worked out that you can get a cheap one (including all fees) for about £4,900 on the road price, for a grade 3, that probably needs a good clean and the odd bit of work but not much else. Some of the cheaper campers tend to need replacement leisure batteries etc, but that is only about 60 quid.

Also Mitsubishi Canter and Isuzu Elf, but they are much rarer and a lot more expensive.

We can even import a lot of American Campers like the Winnebago, as the Japanese love them and there are quite a few around.

    Thanks,

    Jon.
