    nearly crashed.

driving home form the gym and took a short cut to avoid some traffic lights! and the short cut was a sweeping left bend so as i was going around it the backend kicked right out, ive never had the car that sideways before...and i mean it was sideways!! so i turned the wheel trying to catch it and that just snatched it the other way. i nearly crapped myself all i could see was the pavement. i seriously thought i was gonna hit it and i really dont know how i didnt.
i wasnt going that fast or over acererating , just caught me out a little.
everythings ok i guess ill have to be more carefull in future.

Glad you never crashed mate. Unfortunately a lot of Skylines bite the dust at this time of year. Our roads are just so greasy and slidy the back end can go at very low speeds.

Sorry to see what happened to you blake[puc].

i was out in huddersfield on thursday in mine doing a bit of the old xmas shopping with a friend. sat at a set of lights waiting to turn right with a police car behind me. lights went green and i slowly set off around the corner, next thing i know im doing a slow drift but had the car completely sideways round this corner. (infront of the cop car) and he didnt even pull me over. he mustve thought i knew what i was doing . RESULT

I got sideways last winter at about 15 mph.
When I corrected it the back shot out the other side wildly then setlled up streight.

I got rid of the Jap original tyres the next day, fitted good European rubber and it made h*ll of a difference.

Have also since got rid of the hicas. Don't like the feel of me and a computer trying to control the backend at the same time.
