    Its been a while.

Picked up a set of dayz sideskirts (rear bumper bar to follow shortly). Due to a minor oversight by the GTR shop i still dont have the earthing kit i ordered but i am hoping it will be here this week.

Got my Gizzmo fitted yesterday and its set to .79 bar currently and feels massively different now the 2 stage boost has gone and i am getting .79 bar all the way through.

Only thing of concern with this is that the boost feed to the real time guage on the ebc unit is taken from the back of the intake plenum, about as far from the turbo as you can get and the other side of the intercooler. So i am getting 0.79bar there, what is the turbo actually producing? Does anyone know what the boost drop across the ic and all that pipework is?

i think most people have but for example your controller is reading .85bar at the plenum and there is a .2bar pressure drop across the ic and pipework then the standard cheesy ceramic tubby is on the verge of going pop

I am going to tee into the pipework near the solenoid for another boost guage as a safety check

to be honest I would be surprised if there was a .1bar drop, across the ic and pipework, the throttle plate is the most restrictive thing hence why you plumb in near the plenum as you want to react to that closing as quickly as possible to prevent over boost.

Not had a proper update for a while.

Gizzmo is in and set up to run a steady 0.83 bar. Not going to bother with the scramble feature until i venture on to track properly. So much difference having that much boost from early on

Got this little lot that is going to be fitted next weekend while changing oil and atf fluid and plugs if they arrive in time (new source for me).

Dayz skirts, SAFC II, R33 gtr fuel pump and my new whiteline arbs

I can see a pattern emerging here. You ought to change your username to Emelda
