    Project Daily Driver

I saw this car on SXOC while i was on the lookout for a daily driver for a new job. I wasnt really interested in an estate - i was initially looking at BMW 330's, Subaru Legacy Spec B's.

Me and the mates we went to Chamonix with last christmas have been talking about going back next christmas but doing a nit of a tour taking in some of Italy and Switzerland aswell. This kind of brought my attention round to a fast estate to lug all the stuff and dog around whilst still keeping a bit of entertainment at the same time.

This RSFour came up incredibly cheaply, then got even cheaper coming up to christmas. Come january it was impossible to say no so i brought it

With work i sometimes carry around equipment and materials so a way of hiding the boot was needed. Big to Andy for saving the day

The load area cover and dog net

I also brought Andy's old R33 GTR rims and this morning went and changed the tyres and got them fitted

Much betterer, just needs lowering now to get rid of the tractor style ride height

    More updates soon

Looks nice, careful you don`t go too far with the lowering, the natural ride height is a lot higher than a skyline, so don`t expect it to go down as far, mines silly as it is, the driveshafts go up like a flight of stairs and the ride is awful at times.

What about R33 GTR front shocks and S14 Rear shocks ?

Their standard ride height should lower the car a bit, not sure, worth a thought..

Why are you going up flights of stairs in your car Jay

s14 rear shocks are the same as the gtst Tim, the springs and top mounts are different to the Stagea

Managed to get a decent amount of driving in today and found it was handling like a sack of spuds. Went and checked the tyre pressures and they were all different

    passenger driver
    26psi 27psi front

    36psi 35psi rear

Adjusted them all to be 35psi and it seems to have cleared up massively, still doesnt feel quite right but i can hear a slight nock from the drivers side front strut over some of the bigger bumps round here which means it could be on its way out. Popped into RK Tuning as i was passing and spoke to Ron about getting it all polybushed to tighten the whole thing up a little more. Going in next weekend

hmmm... Canny remember who told me that info Andy.. Any idea what struts are the same as Stageas ?

Is 35psi all round not a bit high ? I have 28psi in mine at the mo with snow tyres mind, but still run 28 psi in the summer tyres..

I ran the same size wheel/tyre combo on my old 14 with 33psi allround then pumped them to 36/37 for the track. Seemed fine to me.

The lower pressures just didnt feel right, felt like the sidewalls were flexing too much and shifting the cars weight in the process

On a plus note someone from sxoc photoshopped the car

I quite like, bit too low for the speed bumps round here in reality.
