Civic Type-R Engine. AT Power throttles

Just thought you'd be interested in my day today. Was at APT with a project car. Big thanks to Gary for putting up with my tinkering.

Honda K20A2 EP3 EDM standard engine

    Aftermarket exhaust/manifold
AT Power direct to head shaftless throttle bodies 45mm.
    Typhoon ECU (Very nice!)

Previously ran with standard inlet, induction kit and the exhaust, remapped honda ecu - 196bhp.

Now, 231bhp!! Ran out of injectors eventually. V-tec kicked in sure enough. Dyno dynamics spot on RR too, I think it was just over 200atw.

Oh nearly forgot - This is in the back of a mk1 classic mini should go pretty well on the road I'd say.

I'm sure the owners gonna love it!!
    Cheers,

    John

Not exactly sure what this weighs. Mk1 mini, ZCars conversion, only one seat, alu fuel tank, fibreglass doors and bonnet, carbon tailgate and arches, perspex windows, etc. Zcars claim around the 480kg for a hayabusa turbo version. This one has a lighter body, but heavier engine so lets say 500kgs.

462bhp/tonne give or take. About the same as an F3 car, or a 700bhp R32 GTR. 0-60, errr, fast I guess?

I thought this car was nuts. Your mate sounds like he should be locked away for his own safety!!
