    engine output 340 bhp
    wheel output 272
    drag output 68

I dont know tbh i've had my car on the dyno around 4 times and had different figures each time

I've heard 35-45hp losses on GTST's being suggested as well

Thats not actually measured thought is it???

Thor who also use a dynapack dyno werent able to tell me the flywheel power for my car but said drivetrain losses would be between 30 and 60hp

As far as i understand (feel free to correct me) the dynapack dyno doesnt measure the drivetrain loss figure all you get is the figure at the hubs

As opposed to "most" conventional dynos which measure the power at the rollers and then during the run down cycle measure the drivetrain losses and by adding these two figures together they give a flywheel figure

36hp seems low to me and logically I would expect the more hp a car makes the greater the losses due to drag from friction and oil in the gearbox and diff

Of course its a case of does it really matter at the end of the day dyno results do vary greatly depending on type and time of year and are essentially meaningless for comparison purposes

No Idea to be honest, but one graph was a flywheel figure and the other was of an at the hubs output and consequently the difference was 36

    Yip.

Dyno's are very over rated, no two makes give the same output and few are repeatable.
Plus the dyno enviroment is far from what you get on the road. An example... we mapped an Evo 6RS on the way to the dyno and it ran perfectly, afr's etc were spot on... ran it on the dyno and it looked terrible afr's looked miles out (still made 603bhp tho ) and the dyno's afr readings were miles from our own equipment! Obviously we never changed anything and re checked it on the way home.... Still Perfect!

This was a new Dyno Dynamics!

Lol, just noticed it was Star's dyno you were on Tommy.... my old GTST made 350 odd bhp on their MAHA dyno with a std ecu at 0.8bar about 5 years ago .... if you believe it

I'm sure the transmission losses were calculated at about 70 odd bhp, but that was wit 4 adults in the car VERY tight straps and a fat git in the boot to stop it spinning

I have a video of it somewhere.

I thought 320bhp was the max on stage 1 mods with RSP ecu upgrade?

Not if it's on a MAHA

I'm sure Tommys car is running much better with the ecu as the std ecu's fuelling and timing are not exactly great (being polite)
