    Brakes

    Hi Guys

This may seem like a really thick question however it has been bugging me. I plan to take my 33 GTS-T up to a stage 1 and am a bit of a plank when it comes to practical thigs.
I know that I need a full Exhaust, Front mount Intercooler and am prob going to do the rising sun performance Stage one boost control and Mapping offer.
However I hear a lot about "Brake Conversions" is this just bigger pads or pads and discs?
Ideally i want this in place before I mess with the power so I know that i can stop!
What is the best one to go for considering I am only aiming for circa 300 BHP? and what sort of cost am i looking at?
    Any ideas?

For 300 bhp and fast road use the standard size should be fine. Some uprated slotted discs with yellow stuff pads would do the trick. Throw those old Nissan ones in the bin.

Steel lines, brake stopper, 5.1 and EBC Red or Yellow pads will suffice.

Depends on your level of experiece over BHP IMHO. You could have 1 million BHP, but be unable to drive for toffee, so not cook the brakes (not saying that you can't drive, just using as example)

That would be my advice too

If you have a little search, you will find that Goddard and NigelS both have the DB Power conversions and for the money, they are well worth it.

I cant drive thats why i need brakes lol! Having seen Scotsmans and knowing that im not aiming for much over 300 bhp I will prob do as he suggests. If i go bigger then will follow Bubbles route.
I dont drive that quickly thats why im only going for a stage 1.
    Thanks Lads
