    R32 GTS Bodykits

    Hi folks,

Just a quick question as I am sure somebody on here would have already tried this, I need to gain 50mm - ish on width to occomodate suspension adjustment and run the tyre widths I am planning.

I have seen GTR over-covers for rear arches, which would be a simple solution, but as most wide arch GTR kits fit above the buldge line would they simply replace the GTS arch or is there a big difference in rear arch shapes, and presumably the front are a simple bolt off-on with Std GTRs or mostly replaced with over-wings.

Has anyone tried fitting wide GTR kit to GTS and is it a nightmare, was after a simple fitment as they could get trashed often in races (with my skills) so quick easy replacement (no gotta look showroom, just passable at 10 feet for race use, joints ect can and probably will be hidden with decals etc).

yep best bet for a track car is to cut slits goign up on the wheel arch and fold the strips out and sown to make another arch, then weld some sheet metal on underside and also a piece of sheet metal as a outer piece, cover whole lot in fiberglass, then put over fender on top, doing this will ensure if a tyre pops or delaminates if you drift it, it wont take out your new overfender

Decided to go for it and ordered a wide arch gtr kit and am going to "adjust" the original panels to take up the slack...

I'll let you know if it was a bad idea once I have finished and counted the number of remaining fingers/hairs on my head...
