As some of you will know/remember a while ago I bought a 1991 R32 GTR that I thought(well hoped) only needed the bottom end sorting out,and after finding out this is an engine out job,I decided to get it done by a specialist.
Smooth Torque Performance had not long been a trader on here and were fairly local to me,so after a chat with Mr.Aha(who passed my number on to Nick, cheers Pete),it wasn't long(next day unless my memory fails me) before Nick and Kester came to my house complete with trailer to collect the car.
They took the car to their place and started to have a look at it for me,and well lets put it this way, there was a lot more than just new bearing needed to put this car right.
I've got to say the service I received from Smooth Torque was outstanding.
I got regular updates on how the job was going and also letting me know anything else they had found(good or bad).
After we had decided how far we was going to go on the car they took care of everything for me(and it turned out to be far from a small job),they even organised to have the interior cleaned(there was oil marks on the seats)and put the car through its M.O.T.
I have had the car back for a couple of weeks now and I am very happy with the work Smooth Torque has done, and the service I received. The car drives well(still running it in so have not had chance to open her up properly),pulls well in all gears with no funny noises, just the lovely sound of the engine and exhaust.
So I can, with confidence, recommend Smooth Torque Performance to all forum members(and guests),you will not be disappointed with the service you will receive or the quality of work they do,not to mention how welcome you are made to feel, whether it be on the phone or face to face.
So all that's left is for me to say is a massive thank-you to all at Smooth Torque for all you have done to get my GTR back on the road with a clean bill of health, you are assured of my custom in the future.
Thanks again guy's
Julio
