With Power Comes Responsibility
well only got 1 working at the mo, think i've got a wiring prob on the other one that i need to trace, but i can turn it up louder than i could before already.
will get the front ones in sometime this week![]()
I got a sony explode headunit from halfords at easter as it was half price, put it in and new my speakers were s*** before as they were standard also had none on the rear shelf, so the next day wen't and got some 6" apline speakers for the doors, and 6x9 apline speakers for the rear not realising they didnt fit without a new rear parcel shelf so made one myself out of plywood covered it with the rear parcel shelf felt and bobs your uncle!!! in total it all cost me about £160, a full 8 hours work and its great nice and bassy!! good luck with yours!!!
Yep they are shagged and are very basic , if it's just back ground music you want , the just replace that with uprated ones the same size , but make sure they have at least the woofer and tweeter speakers like the jbl ones shown above. Also check to make sure the wires are in good condition. The JBL speakers are quite good and very effiicient at making the most of the available power at the cost of a little sound quaility , but most people would not notice. A good buy! like their name sake " Just Bloody Loud " .
