I fear I will find it very hard to resist being a nodding, grinning donkey after my first test drive and hand over the cash.

I also do not have the experience of driving a sweet Skyline as opposed to a dog, they are all going to feel sweet after my Hyundai.

The worry of picking up a dog is building.

You shouldn't worry too much, make sure you read this guide Skyline Buyers Guide To give you a headstart on what to look for, and as said, test drive as much as you can and in time you will notice the differences of each skyline you drive, incase also that you found something on the net that you think you might like, post it up here so everyone could have an opinion and give you an idea If the said spec/power is actually relative to the mod that is on the car

Hi there Click here to enlarge and welcome to the SOC forum Click here to enlarge
You are definitely doing the right thing by getting as much advice as you can.
As said don't rush into buying one until you are absolutely sure it's a good one. If you can get a known car that would be even better.
Just keep asking for an opinion on here. We promise we won't get fed up with you asking. Click here to enlarge
As far as models go, I definitely prefer the shape of the 33's. Click here to enlarge
You do really need to try both to see what you prefer as far as driving is concerned. Click here to enlarge

    Good luck with your search.

It's all down to personal taste. In my experience the gtr is faster off the line and round corners and more powerful stage 1 -2 but it is quite heavy and can feel a little dead to drive depending on what you are looking for.

The GTT has TCS if you are lacking in the driver talent dept but is just hideously ugly from the back but then if you are sitting in it you dont have to look at it, just the back of the GTR in front which is why I dont have to look at it either.

Actually, I'm not the devil. I'm an interested third-party broker. Unfortunately, not being the devil, I can't change the size of your ass

The car is a lot more modified than the ad suggests, plus the seller has no history (which is never a guarantee anyway). Miguel suspects it's a scam - but if not, maybe someone could be in for a bargain.

i can't see why Miguel thinks its a scam, when we sold the car on his behalf and we are based in norfolk- when we sold the car it had 100000 on the clock and had been converted to mph buy newera(brighton) just before that, so the mileage 'should' be 65k miles plus what this guy has done in miles.

Think this car was offered to me when I as getting mine through Newera, but I wanted black or silver.

    I was very tempted though.

    hi
sounds like a difficult choice mate. ive had 2 r33 gtst's and now have a 34gtt.
of my 33's one was manual and the other automatic. i would say both had there merits but i slightly prefered the manual as the auto 33 had no tiptronic gear change. my 34 gtt is a tiptronic and it works well but i know there are a lot of manual only drivers out there. However give on ago and see. In my experience an auto better suits town driving for laziness lol. and still has the ability to go fast when required....but if you want to drive the car everywere like you just stole it then get a manual.
as for 33 gtr or 34 gtt that is tricky.....i do like the 33gtr and recently was condidering this myself but then i would miss the 34 styling. Mine has the same kit as the one in the white advert + other bits and bobs and i decided on the 34 gtt over the 33gtr when i whent looking as i personally love the 34 shape. could always get a proper nice 32 gtr for that money....
i get bored of cars quickly and am concidering selling mine for this reason so im sort of still thinking what to try next or if just to keep mine lol....

check out my sig picture.....personally i think the back view of the 34 is the best of any other model skyline....then i am biased.

Hi and welcome to the Skyline Owners Club forum Click here to enlarge

Many, many people have gone through the same dilema of an R34GTT, or an R33GTR.

I chose the R34GTT as I like the RWD and it felt more nimble than the R33GTR that I drove before I bought it.

If you want the best on a track, or drag strip, then it has to be a GTR though, as they do put the power down better.
