Just been told not to come into work tonight as a jet has crashed from our base. No word from the pilot and Navigator. Hope they ejected.

Not good, only know the jet wasn`t from my Squadron.
Saw that in the paper online (that don't sound right). Any updates?

Pretty sure they would have found them by now if they had got out. They have beacons on their life support jackets.
Confirmed Pilot and Navigator killed. My condolencies to thier families.
Bugger!
RIP Guys.
There is no such thing as cynicism, it is merely realism born out of experience.
F1 you work on the Tornado F3 then, I used to work on GR1 and F3 years ago when I was in RAF, my brother was at Leuchars then moved to Lossie.
Bad news my heart goes out to their Families.

Ep worked on 5 sqn f3's, 1 sqn Harriers, Jaguars AMF, 111 Sqn F3
Really sad news. It was from 43 Sqd, the "Fighting Cocks".
And my son is pretty upset about it as just a week or so ago he was up at Leuchars and in the 43 Sqd hangers talking to the pilots and ground crew, even got his picture taken standing on one of the Tornado Wings (he's a Sergeant in the Air Cadets).
Bad news..., heard it on the radio driving home last night.
My condolences go to all their families and friends..

Skinny dipping is no longer an option... it's more of a chunky dunk
That sucksMy condolences also.
One major draw back for military services unfortunately, they put their lives on the line every day whether it's in training or out in the field. The forces never get shown enough appreciation for what they do.
