Oulton Park 1/8

Had to miss Anglesey and Llandow due to a problem with the car coming back from a Nurburgring trip and was gutted. Turns out problem was just rear wheel had come loose

Anyway, whilst the car was at MGT thought I may as well get the Hicas locked out and uprated anti roll bars fitted front and rear as I had been thinking of getting these done at some point.

Picked the car up yesterday and already feels more stable in corners with 'ordinary' road use. Off to Oulton Park on Saturday to try it out properly.
A bit of a consolation gift to myself for missing Anglesey. Anyone else going?

I would love to do Oulton Park, but more than a bit skint after Italy and two trackdays in Wales

I only live a few miles from oulton park, would have loved to go there.

Just had a pay cut so no goodies for me for a very long time.

Cheers guys. I am sure I will have a good day even though weather is not looking too good at the moment.

As I said, I was gutted to miss Anglesey as I have never been there and it looks a good circuit. Done Oulton a couple of times now and absolutely love it. If you ever get the chance it is a circuit well worth doing. Hopefully get to Anglesey next year.

I booked through Track Days Driving Experiences and Gift Vouchers from Trackdays.co.uk but it is being run by Focused Events and you can book direct through them - Focused Events: Bike Track Days, track, tracks, day, uk, book, events, circuit, circuits, days, car, motorcycle, motorbike, Car Track Days, UK Track Days, Euro Track Days, Bike Events, Car Events, car racing, bike racing, motor racing, silverstone, b. I booked a couple of days ago and there was 5 spaces left then.

The links were a lot shorter when I typed them in.

If your mate wants to sit in for some sighting laps (line may not be the best though) tell him to look out for me - not sure if they are charging for passengers though. I will be there all day and my usual passenger cant make this weekend so seat is available. Same applies to anyone else.

My first trackday was a novice day with Motorsport Vision - very well organised. I am sure you will have fun on the drift tracks also. There are 2 tracks and you can move between them as you like.
