    Question Constant missfire

iv just put a new (second hand) engine in my r32 gtst, seems to be ok except the no.4 cylinder is constantly missfiring.

iv fitted 6 new plugs, swapped coilpacks round and still have the same problem with the no. 4 cylinder.
all the wiring seems to be ok but i dont think im getting a signal from the ecu to the ignition amp.

im out of ideas, even opened the ecu and it seems to be ok, no water damage or short circuits.

is it known for this kind of failure in the ecu?

does the wiring plug go onto the coil with a 'click' ?

have you compression tested the engine ?
