This is a bit of a land mark and a turning point for both me and Honey.

I started the Essex meet 50 months ago and have enjoyed getting members to come along and put faces to faces. We have had a lot of laughs and some great times.

This is the last meet that I will be at in the capacity of Esex rep. - yes I am retiring and hanging up my boots. I will still be coming to the meets, but some new younger and enthusiastic reps will be taking over.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for coming to the meets and hope that you will continue to do so in the future.

Why am I doing this?

Well I feel that I have not arranged and done much since I took on the role of club treasurer and shared the secretary position with Gordon. I spend so much time on running the club, that actually organising local events, just hasn't happened with my workload.
