    Missfire

    as most of you may be aware i got my front mount for my car an is now fitted. i had a slight misfire before but wasn't bad would give a cough under heavy boost but since fitting front mount in second stage of boost a major cough misfire any ideas i have fitted all silicone hose there all tight no boost leak etc could this be a definate sign my spark plugs or coil pack etc are to blame?

    Remember your ECU will be chucking in more fuel now mate. Should really get it mapped when you fit a FMIC. I have the same problem as still running the same ECU, always got better things to spend my money on and quite confused wich ECU to buy. The spark lugs or Coil packs could also be on their way out which won't help. Try changing the sparkies first (cheap option)

    As above - change plugs first unless you know how long they have been in. When changing them give the coil pack thing a clean out with a dremmel thingy to make sure connection is good - there are a few threads on how to do it if you do a search.
